I grew up in Sarasota, Florida and had extensive upbringing in the Fine Arts and Performance Arts (dance, orchestra, and studio art). I lived in Warsaw, Poland where I continued my work. I studied Psychology, Fine Arts, and Graphic Design at Southern Methodist University and Florida Atlantic University. After being involved in the arts community for a long time on the East Coast of Florida, I became the Manager of Marketing for a family franchise of 9 Arby's restaurants in Broward County. I grew up in the restaurant business, and was able to apply my artistic capabilities to local marketing for a small business in a successful manner. I relocated back to Sarasota and, as the Communications Coordinator, handled the local marketing for the IceHouse on 10th (an 8900 sq. ft. gallery). I was a Senior Graphic Designer for a prominent marketing company in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl for almost 3 years. Now I am a Rug Designer and manage the Design Center at Rugs As Art in Sarasota, Florida. I continue to learn and aspire to make a great impact in the art world, and to help many clients attain their interior design goals through art and textiles. I believe that art (in all its forms) is an incredible part of the well-being of a community. I will always strive to promote the arts in the best way that I can so it will enrich the future.
